Just got back from a lovely night here with my girlfriend celebrating our 6 month. We love love loved our food. Highly recommend the crab stuffed sole and the calimari. I think the cocktails could maybe use some improvements but overall the food, atmosphere, and service absolutely makes this a place to return to. We really enjoyed the lounge area too in the back, and bonus points to whoever was in control of the music! Definitely coming back.
The ambience at this place is remarkable. They did a great job with their renovation first time here since the rebuilt.. The place has fire pits in the front parking lot in the back. They have a wine bar in the front of full bar in the back, which is very dimly lit with candles on the tables, beautiful bar, very cozy, clean and comfortable. The decor is beautiful the table settings, the paint on the wall had a lot of character. The staff was very friendly. We had happy hour. I had a champagne with a cherry, which was 8$ had a pizza on a board like a flatbread 9$ Great price That’s the happy hour price between 3 PM and 6 PM ordered a French onion soup. It was very good. My Husband had a burger and fries. The burger could’ve been larger, you have to pay five dollars extra for friesbut it was tasty it didn’t fill My Husband stomach He said it was too small. I like more cheese on my pizza. The service was excellent you have so many different rooms you can attend. The bathrooms are beautiful and clean. Location is great. The restaurant sits on a little island . With them closing a lot of landmarks like Chevy’s, Hs Lord ships Emeryville needed something to add to the neighborhood and I think this place is it.. to the owner well done Btw Great selection of music - Love It
Honor Kitchen Speakeasy bar is so warm and inviting. They have drink ingredients stylishly displayed on the bar front. It's such a modern throwback touch. Our server, Ree, was the best. The short ribs were delicious, as were our cocktails. The restaurant area is open and airy. The front sitting area with fire pits looks comfortable and fun. It was a great atmosphere, great drinks, and good food--top 10 all around.
Delicious food, great drinks & wonderful service! Food is always on point, super flavorful, not too salty or greasy and the perfect mix of farm to table and comfort food. Manager usually stops by to see how the meal is going which is always appreciated. Drinks are yummy & the happy hour is well worth it. Highly recommend!
I so glad I stopped in. The service is warm and friendly and I really enjoyed being seated at the bar. While looking over the menu I found so many options and was pleasantly impressed with what I ordered. Please order the short ribs! Falling apart tender and so flavorful. Ir was the perfect comfort meal. I will be back. Fun Fact: Outdoor seating is ample and each area has a fire pit!
The new renovation is a fresh step, but the bar being preserved really made me feel good. Back visiting and the food was fantastic. The calamari dish was well executed. Oysters amazing. Cocktails great. Deviled eggs were ample in filling, which did overpower the crab a bit.
I found my self back in the area and had to stop by again for the amazing food and we'll crafted drinks! Shay was back behind the bar and as always, the drinks were on pint!!! Great smoke and honey drink. This time I had the linguine and clams. The brouth was well balanced with flavor and didn't out balance the clams. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the accompanying bread helped soak up the delicious sauce. Not heavey and perfect for dinner. Great ambiance and plenty of seating in the front restaurant area and comfy seating in the back bar area. Friendly service, only down side is the parking but it's worth the search.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The dogs love it here and are always welcomed with a big bowl of water. Honor Kirchen is an overall great place for hanging out with friends enjoying good eats. ♥︎♥︎♥︎
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️HAPPY HOUR, 9pm I am pleased to say I gave Honor another shot at the 9pm happy hour. Vibes were excellent in the lounge. It was very cozy with beautiful decorations and lovely Christmas music. The truffle fries were outstanding, but not on the happy hour menu and unavailable after 10pm. I would highly recommend the Mushroom and Arugula pizzetta on the happy hour menu. Ordered around 10pm and the kitchen had no problem making them quickly. I love the cocktails/drinks of the day. They almost never miss. The espresso martinis are also not on the happy hour menu but so delicious because they brew their own espresso. The bar tenders and servers are always very nice and we are greeted immediately and brought water. I love when Shai is on aux because there are no ads and the music is great! Luis is also a friendly face to have around. So kind and welcoming. Jolly vibes, good drinks…late night happy hour is the way to go.
